We built this for you, not against you.

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and username. That's it for required account info. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture from Google — nothing else.

We also collect basic usage data — things like which features you use and how often — to understand how to improve the product. This data is anonymised and aggregated; it's not linked to individual searches.

Your searches

We do not store your search queries in a way that's linked to your account. When you search for an email address or username, the query is used to return results and then discarded. We do keep aggregate counts (how many searches you've run today) so we can enforce plan limits, but not the actual search terms.

Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe handles everything and gives us only what we need: whether a payment succeeded and which plan you're on.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. There is no retargeting, no ad networks, no cookie consent walls.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to run InfoDrain:

• —Stripe — payment processing
• —Google OAuth — optional sign-in (you can use email/password instead)
• —Analytics — aggregate usage statistics to improve the product

We don't use advertising platforms, data brokers, or sell data to anyone.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data becomes inaccessible immediately. We soft-delete records for a brief period for fraud prevention and legal compliance, after which they are permanently removed.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data
• Opt out of any marketing emails

To exercise any of these, go to your account settings or contact us and we'll sort it out quickly.

Age requirement

InfoDrain is intended for users aged 18 and over. The nature of our service — searching for exposed personal data — is not suitable for minors. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll notify active users by email before they take effect. Small updates (fixing typos, clarifying wording) will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top.
